This 3 pack includes three riders with spear and shield and horses. They are meant to be irregular troops. Two troopers are holding the spear in the right hand and the other is holding the spear in his left hand with his shield.
These are meant to represent the Irregular cavalry that served in several forces for the Princes, Mughal, Europeans, Sikhs etc. They can be used from 1700 till 1850's. They probably can be used for other time frams as well since they are rather generic.

Very clean sculpts. True 28mm, realistically proportioned models with well defined details; great definition on both the riders and their mounts. Casting is excellent; minimal flash, virtually no mould lines.
Horses, although very nice, not quite as nice as the riders. Heads a little on the small side, necks a little too deep on two of the models. Two of the horses appear to be at the walk and look fine however the body and limb position of the horse sculpted at the canter looks awkward. The limbs are well proportioned however, with knees, hocks and fetlocks in all the right places. Same quality casting as on the riders. Pewter spears come separately, not cast on the model which makes replacement with more robust brass weapons easy.
I love these models; despite the small faults with the horses I am very happy with them and plan to order more.
